Radio program play scripts and advertisements written by Chicagoans Mildred Hark McQueen and her husband Noel McQueen. Included are 85 play scripts, advertisements for Wrigley chewing gum (13 items) announced by Jack Fulton and the Andrews Sisters, and spot announcements of New England recipes (14 items) sponsored by the Wrigley Company. Many of the scripts are of romantic comedies, love triangles, or dramas. A few of the scripts deal with World War II and post-war issues, such as rationing, job shortages, and women in the workforce.
